The U.S. Virgin Islands’ Attorney General, Ariel Smith, celebrates the successful completion of a 6-week parenting class for the Hispanic community, organized by the Access and Visitation Program (AVP) of the V.I. Department of Justice. The program, in partnership with various community organizations, focused on promoting healthy parental relationships and enhancing child well-being.

It included topics like co-parenting, conflict resolution, and setting mutual disciplines. AG Smith praised the participants for their commitment to becoming better parents, emphasizing the importance of strong families for a strong community. The AVP is a federally funded program aimed at strengthening family bonds.
