FX sets Sept. 24 premiere for American Horror Story: 13

FX has set American Horror Story: 13 for a Thursday, Sept. 24 premiere on FX and Hulu, with 13 half-hour episodes planned through Oct. 29.
A teaser released Thursday brings back familiar faces from across the anthology. Jessica Lange returns as Constance Langdon, while Evan Peters appears as Kai Anderson and the Rubber Man. Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett and Emma Roberts are also in the preview, reprising characters associated with earlier seasons.
According to Variety, FX has confirmed a cast that includes Paulson, Peters, Bassett, Kathy Bates, Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari and Lange, alongside a larger group of returning performers. Ryan Murphy told the outlet that some actors play two characters from different seasons in the same scene.
The opening night and the following week will each include three episodes. FX and Hulu will then release two episodes every Thursday until the finale.
