VIPD Investigates Double Homicide in Castle Coakley

The Virgin Islands Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people following a shooting reported early Sunday in Castle Coakley on St. Croix.
According to the VIPD, the St. Croix 911 Emergency Call Center received multiple reports at about 4:13 a.m. of two gunshot victims near La Terraza Bar and Restaurant.
Officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel found one victim unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound and pronounced that person dead at the scene, the department said. A second victim was taken by private vehicle to Juan Luis Hospital and was later pronounced dead there.
The victims were identified by next of kin as 30-year-old Yordani Eduardo and 25-year-old Delli Eduardo, according to police.
The VIPD Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating the case as a double homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call 911, the bureau at 340-778-2211 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers said a reward may be available for information leading to an arrest in active investigations.
