VIPD: Three Arrested in Separate St. Croix Burglary Cases

Three people were arrested in separate St. Croix burglary investigations late last month, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

VIPD said Orsel Edney, 34, was arrested July 17 and charged with third-degree burglary in connection with a June 24 burglary at Ambiance Lounge.

David Jakubens, 58, was arrested July 30 and charged with third-degree burglary after police said he entered WMJR Service Station and removed items from the business.

Deshawn Henley, 21, was arrested July 31 and charged with third-degree burglary in connection with burglaries at Cheeseburger in Paradise, VIPD said.

All three were remanded to the John A. Bell Correctional Facility after bail was set, according to the department. The cases remain allegations, and charges are resolved in court.
